Middendorf Breath Work* establishes a sense of oneness with your breath through presence and sensation. You will learn to give up controlling the breath and allow it to guide, heal, balance and integrate your life.

Classes teach an active breath-led movement, which increases sensation, space and awareness of breath in your body. Trust develops that the breath comes and goes on its own. Experience this movement coming from breath that connects to and flows from your deepest Self.

Hands-on work is a dialogue between your breath and the hands of the practitioner. This art form that connects you to yourself and world is tailored to your specific needs and challenges. Breath dialogue creates an inner environment that invites the breath to fill the body, providing a deep sense of calmness.

Originally call The Perceptible Breath by Else Middendorf. It is now called the Breath Experience as well as Middendorf Breath Work. Professor Ilse Middendorf began her work in 1935 in Berlin, Germany. She has dedicated her life to the discovery of the Natural Breath as it comes and goes on its own.

Carol Small has 25 years of experience in the healing arts. She is most widely known for assisting people in releasing stressful and self-limiting beliefs in order to reveal the true self. She now incorporates the science of breath in her work with individuals, couples, classes and workshops.
